General Description
Harbor Bible Institute (HBI) first opened for the Spring Semester, 2014. HBI is a satellite school of the Faith Bible Institute (FBI) of Monroe, Louisiana.  HBI offers a "Through the Bible" undergraduate college level curriculum. Students study chronologically through every book of the Bible, plus all of the major doctrines, with personal life application. A diploma, certificate, or letter of recognition is offered depending on the level of completion. The entire curriculum is covered in three years. If you have ever longed for Bible college level training this is your opportunity.

Classes
Classes are scheduled once per week and have a duration of approximately three hours. Students will view DVD presentations, and participate in discussions. Textbook reading and homework is assigned to be completed during the week. The institute currently meets either Tuesday at 6:00 PM or on Wednesday morning at 9:00 AM.

Eligibility
HBI is open to anyone in Senior High School and above and to non-Harbor Baptist Church members as well as church members.

Tuition and Fees
Application fee each semester you attend: $25.00
First time enrollment fee: $42.00
Semester tuition: $90.00 per semester. Tuition fee includes class materials (see below) and 6 credits of courses.
Total for a first time enrollee: $157.00.
Total each semester for a returning student: $90.00.
Spouses of currently enrolled students get a 50% discount on tuition.

Textbook
Basic textbooks include the Bible, and student workbooks, and Wilmington's Guide to the Bible. The workbooks and Wilmington's guide are included in the cost of tuition.

Faith Bible Institute
The  FBI of Monroe, Louisana was founded in 1985 and has enrolled over 37,000 students in cooperation with hundreds of churches, both within and outside of the US. John T Yates is the founder, lecturer, and author of the FBI commentary sets and volume sets on theology.
